Bossier officials offer sandbags for flooding

The Bossier Parish Police Jury has made sandbags available for all Bossier Residents.

If you live in Bossier Parish you can pick up the sandbags, as many as you want, at 410 Mayfield Street in Benton.

"We want to make sure we're prepared and as you can see we have plenty of sandbags back here, and I want to mention the Bossier Parish Police Jury is always for prevention and helping the citizens as well as the Sheriff's Department," said Sammy Halphen, Director of Public Safety for the Bossier Parish Police Jury.

Workers from the Bossier Parish Highway Department will be on hand at that location all night Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday as well.
