SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A local man who was arrested last week for robbing a dollar store in west Shreveport has been charged with three additional counts of robbery.

Police developed 25-year-old Chadrick Louis as a suspect in the Dec. 18 armed robbery of the Dollar General store in the 4600 block of Mansfield Road. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest, and Louis was taken into custody without incident the next day and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of armed robbery.

During the course of several ongoing investigations, authorities have now charged Louis with one count of armed robbery each for his alleged role in armed robberies at the Circle K stores in the 2700 block of Lakeshore Drive on Nov. 11 and in the 7700 block of Pines Road on Nov. 27 and at the Auto Zone in the 3400 block of Greenwood Road on Dec. 6.

Investigators are working to determine if Louis is responsible for other similar crimes.
