SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Many ArkLaTex fans are talking about Sunday's big game -- the Saints versus the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are on a 3-game winning streak and are 8-6 on the season and looking for a playoff spot in a very close NFC East battle.
Meanwhile, the Saints are coming off a big win over the Tampa Bay Bucs at home. They still have a long shot to make the playoffs.
But this one will be a battle of the quarterbacks.
Drew Brees takes on Tony Romo, and Saints interim head coach, Joe Vitt, compares the Cowboys QB to a future Hall of Fame gunslinger, Troy Aikman.
"Our defensive players have to do more film study. Our defensive staff has to have more study. I think, 'Oh man, everybody has to come back on the same side'," Vitt says.
"[Aikman] has Brett Favre-like characteristics. He's got the same ball action. The ball comes out flat. He has a low target. He buys time. He's got pocket awareness. He can make the impromptu play. And he's got his 'A' game going right now. And I know that it's special company we're putting him in right now, but skill-wise, it's who he reminds you when he's hot," Vitt says.
The game will be played at Noon on Sunday at Cowboys Stadium.
