CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Vivian husband and wife who entered guilty pleas to multiple counts of molestation of a juvenile were sentenced Wednesday in Caddo Parish District Court to a total of 160 years in prison.

Patrick Price Williams will serve the lion's share of that sentence, receiving a total of 150 years in prison at hard labor for nine counts of molestation.

"In my opinion, Mr. Williams should never ever be released from custody, period," Judge Scott Crichton said during pre-sentencing comments.

Crichton also said the case showed "…absolutely overwhelming evidence (Williams) is a heinous sexual predator of teenage boys."  In his comments, Judge Crichton referred to the Williams residence in northern Caddo Parish as "a house of horrors."

On Tuesday, Williams had entered a guilty plea to nine counts of molestation of a juvenile for incidents which began in 1988. He was arrested in July of this year.

Because of the severity of the crime over a number of years and the number of victims involved, the judge used two sentencing ranges against Williams. On counts one through six, Williams received the maximum sentence of 15 years in prison at hard labor on each count. Crichton ordered those sentences served consecutively. Counts seven through nine occurred after a change in Louisiana law in 2011, and the judge ordered Williams to serve 20 years in prison at hard labor on each count, with the sentences to be served consecutively.

Williams' wife, Jacqueline Renea Williams, had entered a guilty plea last week to four counts of molestation of a juvenile. Crichton sentenced Mrs. Williams to the maximum of 10 years in prison at hard labor and ordered the sentences to be served concurrently.

Crichton said he found Patrick Williams to be the major participant in the crimes, saying Williams bartered his wife's sexual services in exchange for sex with the victims.

But the judge said he was troubled that Jacqueline Williams made no attempt to contact authorities about "the grotesque activity under her roof," noting that she, in fact, facilitated her husband's predatory conduct. "But the crime is too severe to not impose what the law allows," he said.

Crichton urged the District Attorney's Victims Assistance coordinators to contact the victims and recommend counseling.

Caddo Parish ADA Geya Prudhomme prosecuted the case.
