Update: Victim identified in S. Broadway accident

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A Tyler man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following an accident on South Broadway Avenue at Heritage Drive on Thursday.

Dillon Shelton, 20, was headed northbound on South Broadway on a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe. Shelton struck the front of the Tahoe, driven by 63-year-old Pam Davis of Kilgore, as she was attempting to make a u-turn in the intersection of South Broadway and Heritage Drive.

Shelton was transported to East Texas Medical Center in critical condition. Davis was not injured.

Investigators are on the scene to determine who is at fault in the accident.
