All lanes open after overturned 18-wheeler closes I-10 East

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Nearly seven hours after an overturned 18-wheeler shuts down I-10 eastbound between Siegen Lane and Highland Road, all lanes are now open.

Cleanup crews were on the scene lifting the tractor trailer upright.

LSP said the big rig was carrying 76,000 pounds of wet cement, but none of it spilled on the roadway.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
