SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
The man suspected of shooting and killing his brother in Shreveport over the weekend has been arrested in Bossier City.
23-year-old Randy Anderson was taken into custody around 6 p.m. Monday in a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mansfield Street by Bossier City Police officers, who had been advised by Shreveport police that Anderson might be in the area.
Anderson was booked into the Bossier City Jail as a fugitive.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department got an arrest warrant and took Anderson to the Shreveport City Jail, where he was booked on the warrant charging him with one count of second degree murder.
Anderson was wanted in connection with the death of his brother, 41-year-old Timothy Anderson, who was shot multiple times inside their home in the 3700 block of Dilg League Drive on Sunday. Anderson's bond is set at $250,000.00.
