BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City Police have arrested two people and charged a third in connection with a home invasion that occurred in September.

Detectives arrested Sarah Elisabeth Smith, 20, Anthony Michael Alvey, 20, both of Shreveport on home invasion charges.

Police say that on Sept. 12 a house in the 400 block of Berry Street was the site of a home invasion and armed robbery. The five people inside the home at the time were not injured.

A third person, Jeron Donte Sykes, 23, of Bossier city, also faces a charge of home invasion in connection with the case. Sykes is currently incarcerated in the Caddo Corrections Center on an unrelated charge.

Smith and Alvey were booked into the Bossier City Jail and later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. Alvey also was charged with domestic abuse battery on a Bossier City warrant from an unrelated incident.
