CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -
A Caddo Parish man has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
56-year-old Michael S. Nodes is charged with 28 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
Investigators with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at Nodes' home at 5577 Grace Lane in Shreveport on November 19. There, detectives say they found that Nodes was in possession of child pornography and that he was the one who had previously downloaded child pornography from the residence.
State Police say the warrant was obtained as part of an Operation Child Watch child pornography investigation.
If convicted, Nodes faces up to a $50,000 fine and from five to twenty years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
