East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a man that robbed the Cracker Barrel at 9958 Burbank on Saturday around 9:30 p.m.
According to reports, the suspect went into the Cracker Barrel with a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded money from the register. The cashier gave him the money and he ran off.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his twenties, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt, dark pants, black tennis shoes, and a New York Yankees cap with a sticker on the top of the brim.
Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
Crime Stoppers is also offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of those responsible. Contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at (225) 344- STOP or (225) 344-7867.
Baton Rouge Police are also investigating a different armed robbery of the Circle K at 4356 Plank Road that happened around 1 a.m. Monday morning. Police say the suspect walked into the gas station armed with a handgun and demanded money. He then ran off.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall with a slim build and a light brown complexion. He appeared to be in his twenties and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans and black sneakers.
Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to contact the Armed Robbery Division at 389-3845 or Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
