SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are looking for two suspects in the armed robbery of a south Shreveport pool hall, and investigators believe they're connected to more than a dozen other armed robberies in recent weeks.

Shreveport Police detectives have obtained arrest warrants for 19-year-old Myles Smith and 21-year-old James Tyson, both of Shreveport. They are facing one count each of armed robbery in connection with the November 9 armed robbery of the Break N Run in the 9400 block of Mansfield Road.

The victims in that robbery told police that two masked men came in to the business and held patrons at gunpoint while demanding money. They made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The armed robbery of the pool hall was just one of more than a dozen armed robberies spanning multiple jurisdictions in recent weeks. Police say Smith and Tyson are also implicated in those.

Already arrested as part of the investigation: 19-year-old Myles Robinson, 22-year-old Tremario Washington and 21-year-old Halston Smith, all of Shreveport. They're accused of robbing the Outback Steakhouse in the 8800 block of Line Avenue on late Wednesday night at gunpoint.

Those three men are also charged in Bossier City in connection with the armed robberies of What's On Tap in the 2300 block of Airline Drive on September 21 and the Applebee's Restaurant in the 2100 block of Airline Drive on November 6.

Bossier City Police detectives have also now secured arrest warrants for Myles Smith and James Tyson in connection with the Applebee's holdup and the armed robbery of an employee at the Trejos Restaurant in the 2100 block of Airline Drive on October 23.

The Shreveport warrants for Smith and Tyson carry a bond of $500,000 each. Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of Myles Smith or James Tyson is urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373, or Bossier Crimestoppers at (318) 424-4100.
