SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Three Shreveport men are facing armed robbery charges for allegedly robbing a restaurant Wednesday night.

Shreveport police say just before 11:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Outback Steakhouse in the 8800 block of Line Avenue after an employee of the business reported that three armed men entered the restaurant and robbed the business around closing time.

Police were able to catch up to the car that the three men were driving. The suspects led police on a brief car chase before all three men were arrested.

Arrested were 19-year-old Myles Robinson, of the 9100 block of Bushnell Lane, 22 year old Tremario Washington, of the 2600 block of Meadow Lane, and 21 year old Halston Smith of the 9400 block of Amity Way, all of Shreveport.

Authorities believe that the men are possibly responsible for upwards of a dozen armed robberies occurring over several weeks, spanning multiple jurisdictions.  The investigation is ongoing.

The three men were booked into the Shreveport City Jail on charges of armed robbery.
