CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) - The woman authorities believe is behind a carjacking that is connected to a body found this past weekend in Caddo Parish is now behind bars at the Caddo Correctional Center.
Stacey Nicole Blount-Juneau, 28, was booked this afternoon on one count of second-degree murder and one count of being an in-state fugitive.
The charges follow the finding of a woman's body that was discovered in a field in southwest Shreveport Saturday morning. A jogger found the body of a 68-year-old Rose Gonzaque Coleman of Shreveport in the field behind the old AT&T plant off of Williamson Way near Mansfield Road around 8 a.m.
No details have been released on the cause of death.
Natchitoches Police say Blount was found driving the car registered to the woman found in the field, and police say they think she may have carjacked Coleman before her death.
Blount has been arrested before in Caddo Parish. She has two previous theft charges from 2011.
