BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A busy section of Airline Drive has reopened to traffic, after a two-car wreck Tuesday morning.

It happened near the Bayou Bend Subdivision shortly after 8 a.m. Louisiana State Police Tpr. Matt Harris says 17-year-old Ehab Husein pulled out of Bayou Bend in his 2012 Toyota Camry and was struck by a northbound 2002 Mazda Tribute, driven by Savana Agee, 17.

Husein was airlifted to the hospital with what are now being called moderate injuries. Agee was also taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Both are expected to survive.

Husein has been cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
