SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Eddie L. Jackson, convicted in August by a Caddo Parish jury of second degree kidnapping and simple arson, will serve 40 years in prison.
Tracy Winslow went missing from her Oil City home on January 23, 2011. Her car was found burned out on North Lakeshore Drive and Kuhn Drive the day after she was reported missing. She has not been seen since.
41-year-old Eddie "Biscuit" Jackson was convicted on the kidnapping and simple arson charges by a Caddo Parish jury in August, but sentencing was delayed due to Hurricane Issac.
Caddo Parish District Court Judge Ramona Emanuel on Friday sentenced Jackson to serve 40 years in prison at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on the kidnapping conviction and 10 years on the arson conviction.
Judge Emanuel ordered the sentences served concurrently.
Jackson is scheduled to return to district court Dec. 11 for arguments and hearings on a charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
