BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A 72-year-old Bossier City woman was killed Monday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 3.

Jacquelyn Anderson suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital where she later died, according to the Louisiana State Patrol.

Troopers say Anderson was a passenger in a Toyota pickup driven by Clifford Anderson, 76, of Bossier City. They were heading west on Vanceville Road at about 7:30 a.m. when Anderson failed to obey the stop sign at Hwy. 3 and crossed both of the northbound lanes.

Anderson's pickup was hit from the side by a northbound Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Marion Markay, 17, of Bossier City.

Troopers say they collected toxicology samples and submitted them for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.
