First there were people claiming they saw religious figures in everyday items. Now a San Augustine County resident is claiming she sees a clothing item in her egg plant, that could predict the outcome of the election.
Kathryn Murray of Broaddus believes an egg plant in her back yard is shaped like a mitten. She believes it is a sign the Mitt Romney will win the election. Her husband finds it hard to believe, but she is standing by her belief that this is a sign for this year's election.
"He said a sign from God, I said yes, it's in the shape of a mitten. So I think it is a sign we need Mit," Murray said.
Murray says this is different than any of the other eggplants she has grown. She also plans on keeping it attached to the vine until the election is over. After that she plans on cutting it up to serve for dinner.
