SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Three men connected to multiple home burglaries were arrested Thursday after Shreveport Police found them in plain sight at a city park.

Arrested were Dontavious Anderson, 21, Jamariya Stafford, 17, both of the 2900 block of Frederick Street, and Deanthony Brown, 22, of the 8700 block of Elbert Circle in Shreveport. Each was charged with one count of burglary.

Police arrested the trio on Thursday immediately following a burglary at a house in the 100 block of North Greenbrook Drive.

But it wasn't until Friday that detectives discovered a link between that burglary and two other burglaries that occurred just blocks from the original burglary.

Police say that witnesses to those burglaries provided similar descriptions of the suspects that already were in police custody.
