Mansfield police have made three arrests in the armed robbery of a local grocery store, and police say it was an inside job.

It happened just after 9 p.m. at the Market Basket Grocery on Washington Avenue on September 30.

Police say a black male with a handgun approached the manager and forced him to open his safe. But before leaving, the suspect forced the manager and three employees into a room in the back.

Now, police say they have charged 18-year-old Rayshun Reed with principal to armed robbery. They say Reed was a current employee at the store and helped plan the robbery.

17-year-old Aaron Allen of Mansfield is also charged with principal to armed robbery, and 18-year-old Justin Samuels is charged with armed robbery.
