SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police say an underage driver was charged Thursday after driving a car involved in an accident with a motorcycle, sending four people to the hospital.

A couple on a motorcycle was heading south about 7:30 p.m. when a Pontiac Grand Am turned in front of them. The motorcycle hit the rear of the car.

The husband and wife on the motorcycle were taken to LSU Health.

The two people in the car, both 15, were taken to a Willis Knighton hospital.

None suffered life-threatening injuries.

The collision occurred on North Market about 1/2 mile north of where the street splits from Hwy. 1.

Authorities have charged the teen driver with driving without a license and failure to yield.
