Firefighters quickly douse house fire they call suspicious

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Fire officials are calling suspicious a blaze that left a house heavily damaged Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called shortly after 8:30 p.m. to a fire in the 4400 block of Lakeshore Drive.

Twenty minutes later firefighters had the blaze under control. The back bedroom was where most of the damage occurred.

Now the investigation begins by fire prevention officials.

    Surveillance cameras captured someone opening fire at a gas station in Jasper. Police are looking for one of the people they said opened fire on Friday night, while the other is still in a hospital.
