SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a Shreveport man hospitalized.

Officers were called to a home in the 700 block of West 74th Street around 5:21 a.m. on Saturday, where they found 25-year-old Robert Guillory suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body. It's suspected that he was sitting in a car in the driveway when someone opened fire on the vehicle.

At least two homes in the area were also hit by bullets in the hail of gunfire. No one in either home was injured.

Guillory was taken to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department with wounds that were described as serious, but considered to be non-life-threatening.

Witnesses reported seeing a green or blue-colored SUV with dark or black wheels in the immediate area, but police say at this point it's not known if the SUV was involved in any way. Authorities are still working to identify the person or persons responsible for the shooting.

Anyone with information is urged to call Shreveport-Caddo Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373 or Shreveport police at (318) 673-6955.
