SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police detectives have released surveillance images of three men wanted in connection with a shooting that left one man dead last week in Shreveport's Ingleside neighborhood.

32-year-old Jason Williams was shot multiple times at a home in the 4000 block of Virginia Avenue just after 10 p.m. on the night of September 13 as two men attempted to force their way in the front door. Witnesses told police that after the two men were unable to get into the home, they began to fire shots through the door, striking Williams. He was taken to LSU Health Shreveport, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the time told police they saw two men running away from the house after the shooting, but descriptions were vague.

Now, Violent Crimes Detectives have since recovered surveillance footage from the scene that shows three male subjects at the home of Williams just moments before the fatal shooting. They're hoping the release of these images to the public will help establish the identity of the men.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call Shreveport Police at (318)-673-7016 or (318)- 673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Crimes Stoppers at (318)-673-7373.
