TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Authorities are leaving the scene of an armed robbery in South Tyler after the victim decides not pursue criminal charges.

Tyler Police are looking the suspect responsible for a robbery at an apartment complex, Bullard Crossing, in the 5100 block of Old Bullard.

The victim told police he was robbed at gun point by a person he knows in the parking lot of the complex.

The robber fled on foot, and police actively pursued the suspect in the vicinity of Broadway Square Mall, but were unable to locate him.

Tyler Police say they have the suspect on the phone, although it's not clear how they were able to get in contact with the suspect.

A spokesperson with Tyler Police says upon further investigation, the victim wasn't willing to cooperate with investigators, and stated he was no longer interested in pursuing criminal charges.
