SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says a Shreveport woman has been arrested for stealing cookie dough and chocolate from a fund raising company and reselling the items for cash.

31-year-old Melinda Fuller, of the 2900 block of Jonathan Lane, is accused of submitting fraudulent purchase orders to Fast Track Fundraising in California. The orders included a fake school name and Caddo Parish School Board seal, along with a forged principal's signature.

Fuller received $2,948.99 in product, which she later sold and kept the money, according to Sheriff's Detective Bobby Herring, who investigated the case.

Fuller had no affiliation with the Caddo Parish School Board. She was arrested for theft and forgery and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
