SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police investigators are offering a reward to anyone who can help them identify and find a man shown on video robbing a Circle K of money and cigarettes.

Police say that about 1:40 a.m. on September 9 a man walked into the Circle K at Southfield and Youree, went to the cooler to get a single can of beer, and started to pay for the item.

Surveillance video at that point shows the man grabbing off the counter a donation box, and a display rack of cigarette lighters.

Police say the man then went behind the counter and demanded that the clerk go to the back of the store, verbally threatening to harm him. Once in the back of the store, the suspect made the clerk give him several cartons of Newport cigarettes.

The video shows the bandit leaving through the west side door on foot toward a nearby Papa Johns Pizza store, where police say he got into what they describe as a small maroon hatchback.

Police say the man stands between 5'7" to 5'8" and weighs between 160-to-170 pounds. He is shown wearing a baseball cap, glasses, a green and blue shirt with white stripes and jeans.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $350 reward to anyone who can identify the man and provide information that leads to his arrest.
