BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City police have arrested a man in connection with an early morning stabbing at an East Texas Street hotel.

30-year-old Rodney Keena Tucker of Bossier City is charged with aggravated battery. Police say he stabbed another man with a knife during an altercation at the Town and Country Motor Hotel in the 4100 block of East Texas Street.

Officers were called to the scene just after 2 a.m. and found the victim with a stab wound to his back. He was taken to LSU Health for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life-threatening wound.

Police say officers were able to locate Tucker within minutes on the hotel property near the scene of the stabbing and were able to book him into jail.
