SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Funeral arrangements have been set for a man who was shot and killed when he walked in on a home invasion in progress at a Shreveport apartment early Sunday morning.

Visitation for Noah Randle, 22, will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home located at 8801 Mansfield Road. Funeral services will be held at Centuries at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Shreveport police say around 2:15 a.m. Randle walked into a unit at the Summer Trace Apartments in the 3200 block of Knight Street as two armed men who had taken several items from the home were trying to leave.

Two victims say they had been confronted by two men they sat outside on their patio at the apartment. The victims say the men, both wearing coverings on their faces and armed with handguns, forced them inside at gunpoint.

Police say Randle and the suspects started struggling, which is when one of the suspects shot Randle in the head. Both suspects then ran from the scene.

Police say the suspects were described as black males, both approximately five feet eleven inches to six feet one inches in height, weighing approximately 150-160 pounds.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call Shreveport Police at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Crimes Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
