SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A 66-year-old Shreveport man is behind bars on a drug charge after authorities investigating a complaint seized several pounds of marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash.
Thomas Epperson, of the 1900 block of Clanton Street, was arrested and charged Friday with distribution of schedule one narcotics.
Epperson's arrest comes after agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit say they received a complaint and launched an investigation of narcotics activity in the 1900 block of Clanton Street.
After their investigation, agents say they executed a search warrant on the property, where they seized about 14.11 pounds of suspected marijuana and about $70,000 dollars.
