The Byrd Yellowjackets are making wholesale changes on both sides of the ball returning only two starters on offense and one on defense.  Head coach Mike Suggs will be relying on senior fullback Xavier Long to have a season like his 17 touchdown 2011 year.  Byrd will be battle tested early starting the season at reigning 5A champions West Monroe.
