Once again, our neighbors along the Louisiana gulf coast are under the gun. This time, it's Isaac.
And once again, we here in the ArkLaTex are prepared to help. Emergency shelters are ready and volunteers are heading toward the storm.
Each of us can do something as well.one way is to donate to the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army. During these natural disasters…both organizations provide aid to the storm victims.
Donations of blood are also essential. And this week, KSLA News 12 and Life Share Blood Center have teamed up for a blood drive. It takes place this Thursday and Friday.
Blood supplies are already low….and when storms like Isaac occur…the demand for life saving blood is even higher.
