SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for your help to get some armed robbers off the streets. The bandits reportedly hit three different locations across town. Police believe two of the robberies could be connected.

One took place on August 44th at the Dollar General Store on Mansfield Road, another at the P.S.  Express on West 70th Street, and another robbery at the Citgo on West Bert Kouns.

Surveillance video of the Dollar General shows a clerk preparing the store for customers in the morning, and suddenly he's approached by two men in hoodies and one with a gun.

"It's basically once they hit the door they start shouting their demands to hurry up and make it fast, to get it get on the run and get out," said Shreveport Detective, Richard Turpen.

The two bandits can be seen helping themselves to the cash in the safe after ordering the clerk to open it.

Another robbery just a few days later leads police to believe there could be a connection.

The third robbery took place a couple of months ago at the Citgo station on West Bert Kouns.

"And it's a clear shot, good video, we're hoping that someone will recognize him and give us a call at Crimstoppers," said Turpen.

Police say this man didn't have a gun and that he just waited in line for an opportunity.

If you have any information on these robberies call Shreveport Crimestoppers at 318-673-7373.
