SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A fundraiser has been scheduled to help the family of Leslie Moss pay for her funeral expenses.
Moss died earlier this week after reportedly being beaten during a weekend argument that also claimed the life of another man. Moss suffered extensive and irreversible brain damage, was taken to LSU Health and died early Wednesday morning.
The fundraiser is set for August 27 at the Windrush Grill in Shreveport. Those who wish to donate should visit the restaurant from 5 p.m. to close.
A portion of the sales will be donated to the family.
Donations also will be accepted at any Capitol One Bank branch.
