BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
A portion of the 800 block of Hamilton Road has been closed while crews with the city's utilities department work to repair a broken water main. The closure is located just north of Scott Street.
Motorists needing to access streets and business south of Scott Street can do so by driving north on Hamilton Road from Barksdale Boulevard, Bossier City Police say.
At this time there has been no loss of water service to residents or businesses in the area, police say.
The road closure may be in effect for the next few days, depending on the type of repairs needed, police say. Repair crews are still assessing the situation.
