Shreveport Police on hunt for two Dollar General bandits

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police are working to identify and capture a pair of suspects who robbed a West Shreveport dollar store Saturday morning.

Police say that shortly after 8 a.m. two men, one of them armed with a handgun, entered the Dollar General in the 4500 block of Mansfield Road, confronted an employee and demanded money.

They received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. No one was injured during the robbery, police say.

The suspects are described as black males, one about 5'9" or 5'10", wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark pants. Police describe the other as about 5'8" to 5'9" tall, wearing a gray hoodie and light-colored blue jean shorts.
