SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Shreveport Police have obtained an arrest warrant for one of two suspects they believe robbed a man at gunpoint in Shreveport's Cedar Grove neighborhood last summer.
Police say the warrant for LaReginald Doyle, 28, is in connection with a robbery that occurred on Aug. 12, 2011, at a home in the 200 block of East 70th Street.
The robbery victim told police that he was walking into his home about 10:50 p.m. when two men attacked him. One was armed with a handgun, which he used to hit the male victim in the head as both robbers forced their way into his house, police say.
Once inside the pair stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot, police say.
An ongoing investigation led to Doyle as a suspect, police say. The warrant charges Doyle, of the 1900 block of Patzman Street, with one count of armed robbery.
His bond has been set at $100,000.
Police say they need the public's help to find Doyle as they work to identify the other bandit. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of LaReginald Doyle is urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or on their website at www.lockemup.org.
