BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

A fight between two Bossier City brothers has left one in the hospital and one under arrest on two criminal charges.

Bossier City police say Arnold G. Thuringer, 58, was arrested after they were called just after midnight Saturday to a house in the 2500 block of Lavonne Circle in response to a stabbing.

When officers arrived they found Joseph Thuringer, 54, with a stab wound to his chest. The victim was taken to LSU Health, though police say the wound is not life-threatening.

Police say they then talked with the elder Thuringer at the scene, took him into custody and charged him with one count of second-degree battery and one count of resisting.

Police say he was transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. His bond is set at $16,000.
