BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

The four-year-old twins who drowned in a Bossier City backyard swimming pool were laid to rest Saturday.

Little Aubrie died Wednesday at Willis-Knighton South after nearly a month in the hospital.

Her sister, Angel, died back in June on the day of the drowning.

Services for the girls took place Saturday at Bellaire Baptist Church in Bossier City.

Both girls are being buried together at Hillcrest Cemetery in Haughton.

A fundraiser is being held to benefit Angel and Aubrie's family at Johnny's Car Wash on Barksdale Boulevard on Sunday, July 22nd from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Two accounts have been set up in the children's names. Contributions can be made at any Barksdale Federal Credit Union branch, under the account name of Angel and Aubrie Smith. The other account is with Community Trust Bank.
