GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Interstate 20 is all clear after an overturned U.S. mail truck caused some delays for commuters in Gregg County.
Just before 11:00 a.m., a large truck traveling eastbound on I-20 overturned near Highway 42, Mile Marker 587. Kilgore Police, DPS, and Gregg County Sheriff's Department responded the scene.
The truck landed in the median, but both eastbound lanes of the interstate were blocked while crews work to upright the truck.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
A witness observed the driver of the mail truck weaving in and out of traffic and crossing two lanes before driving off the road and flipping over.
No other vehicle was hit.
The cargo part of the truck remained intact, so there shouldn't be any lost mail.
