TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -
Texarkana Police arrested a woman Sunday in connection with their investigation of a man who was murdered earlier that afternoon.
Police say they went to a house at 2301 Arkansas Blvd. to assist medical personnel on an ambulance call about 12:30 p.m. and found Lane Denney, 26, suffering from multiple cut wounds on his body.
Denney was taken to Wadley hospital where he later died. His body was sent to Little Rock for an autopsy.
Police say an investigation led detectives to Simone Miller, 20, whom they arrested for tampering with evidence and fleeing.
If you have information about this case, detectives ask that you call the TAPD at 903-798-3154 or Texarkana area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP as they continue their investigation.
