SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Shreveport police will be closing down a few streets in Downtown Shreveport Wednesday afternoon for the fireworks display.
Shreveport Police Department Sgt. Bill Goodin says at 12 p.m. officers will close Clyde Fant Parkway from Lake Street to Milam Street, Crockett Street from Spring Street to Clyde Fant Parkway and Commerce Street from Milam Street to Crockett Street as part of the Fourth of July event being held on the riverfront.
Officials say those roadways will remain closed until the celebration is over around 11 p.m.
