MILLER CO, AR (KSLA) -

The brother of one of two men who escaped from the Miller County Jail in May had his bond reduced Monday to $2,500 from $500,000.

Prosecuting Attorney Carlton Jones says he sought the bond reduction because Edward Dailey, 33, of Texarkana, Texas, provided substantial help in leading to the capture of his brother, 35-year-old Quincy Stewart and 23-year-old Cortez Hooper.

Dailey is charged with furnishing implements for escape and furnishing prohibited articles.

Investigators say Dailey along with Charlene Stewart, mother of escapee Quincy Stewart,  allegedly brought the hacksaw that her son Hooper used to escape from jail. Stewart was also charged with furnishing an implement for escape.
