TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -
Police in Texarkana, TX are investigating the Friday death of an infant.
About 2:00 p.m. Friday, officers were called to a home in the 4200 block of Amesdale about a child who was not breathing. The two-month-old boy was taken to a local hospital, where the Emergency Room staff tried to save him.
The boy was pronounced dead just before 3:00 p.m.
The infant will be taken to Dallas for an autopsy to find out why the boy died.
