Weeks after a young woman was found murdered in her home, Shreveport community leaders and law enforcement are addressing the issue of domestic violence.

Doctors in Texarkana have identified a dangerous drug they say is responsible for more than 20 reported overdoses. It's called Phenazepam. We first alerted you to this drug in a KSLA News 12 special assignment back in February when Louisiana health experts started seeing the drug pop up in our area.

The man accused of killing three people in a shooting at a party near Auburn University appeared in front of a judge today. Plus, his attorney said she will ask that his trial be held outside of Lee County, where the school is located.

Another successful Backyard BBQ.  Today we partied with the Lafitte family with a BBQ with 20 of their friends and family.  Outback Steakhouse-Bossier City owner, Randy Daniel is sponsoring each BBQ for the month of June.  There's a new winner each week. Make sure you enter the contest today.  You could be next week's winner.  Plus, if you are looking for something to do Father's Day, Outback-Bossier City has $50 gift certificates between now and Sunday.  Purchase one and get a $10 gift certificate free.

The Burger King Bacon Sundae made it's debut today. Several KSLA News 12 employees tried it. We'll tell you if they gave it a thumbs up.

See you soon,

Dom
