SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Two suspects have been arrested for the armed robbery of a Circle K convenience store.
Police say two men went into the Circle K store at 9009 Youree Drive at around 3:00 in the afternoon on May 2, 2012 and demanded all of the money from the register while pointing a gun at the clerk.
The suspects emptied the register and ran from the store. Following leads, detectives were able to identify the suspects and immediately began trying to locate them.
At 6:30 p.m. Monday night, the suspects surrendered themselves to detectives. 18-year-old Andrew Wallace of Shreveport was booked into the City Jail on one count of armed robbery.
The second suspect, a 14 year old male, was booked into the Detention Center on one count of armed robbery. Police say the investigation is continuing to determine if additional charges are warranted. Copyright 2012 KSLA. All rights reserved.
