Police release new information about missing south Louisiana woman

22 year-old Mickey Shunick was last seen riding her bike on May 19, 2012

It's day 10 of the missing south Louisiana woman investigation. 22-year-old Mickey Shunick was last seen on May 19. Today, Lafayette Police released new details about an analysis by the Louisiana State Police crime lab into the bicycle that was found. They believe the bike was dumped under the bridge the morning she went missing. The forensics team is still investigating the bike. We'll have more on this story on-air and online at ksla.com. At 10, we speak to Shunick's family members about the investigation.

Accused murder suspects are still on the loose after they escaped from their cell at the Miller County Jail sometime early Monday morning. The Miller County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Cortez Rashod Hooper and 36-year-old Quincy Vernard Stewart were last seen in their cell between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. Guards noticed them missing after 4:00 a.m.
