BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Three Bossier City tire shop employees were injured Tuesday afternoon when a pickup truck ran off the road and ran into the building.

Bossier City spokesperson Mark Natale says the Chevy Silverado pickup truck was headed southbound on Balderas Boulevard when the driver veered off the road, through the U.S. Petro gas station parking lot, and into the Jim South Tire Center in the 5400 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

Natale says it appears the male driver may have been suffering some type of medical emergency.

One worker was taken to LSU Hospital with a possibly head injury, but is expected to survive. Two other workers at the tire shop were treated at the scene by Bossier EMS. The driver of the Chevy Silverado was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
