Senior prank goes wrong at Evangel High School

Posted: Updated:

A senior prank went too far at one Shreveport high school. Students claim vandalism at Evangel Christian Academy took a serious turn when vandals urinated on school and personal property. Police did recover empty bottles of baby oil, which was used on door handles around school, and empty bottles of icy hot creme, which was put on toilet seats.

Students told KSLA News 12 there was also a strong smell of urine on the misplaced desks, chairs and other personal belongings from the classrooms. One student said the vandals were caught on camera, but she didn't know what their punishment will be.

According to the Evangel Christian Academy student handbook, "Students must not deface school property or the property of others. To do so is a serious matter."

The graduation policy says that only students in good standing with the school will be able to participate in graduation. The handbook says expelled students can't participate, but it doesn't list what offenses warrant expulsion.

School administrators did not return phone calls about the incident, so we don't know what punishment the students involved will face. Shreveport police do said they don't expect any criminal charges.
