Ron Paul suspends his campaign for president, but he still wants delegates

Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul says he will put an end to actively campaigning for the GOP nomination.

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul says he will put an end to his "active campaigning" for the nomination for president.

Wireless carriers have teamed up with the U.S. Government to create a new alert system that launched today that will notify cell phone users of weather and national security emergencies. KSLA News 12's Kevin Roth is taking a closer look at the new system.

Jaci Jackson, facing felony theft and cruelty charges in Arkansas and Oklahoma in connection with the killing of a horse stolen from S-A-U Magnolia, was back in court today for a preliminary hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence against on the Oklahoma charges for her to go to trial. After hearing evidence including disturbing statements witnesses say Jackson made, the judge set a trial date. Details at 6:00.

A group of masked men kicked in the door of a Shreveport apartment early this morning and fired shots at those inside. Two people were hit. We'll have the latest on the search for suspects.   

One of the stars from the History Channel's show "Swamp People" died this morning. Fans of the Louisiana-based reality show are expressing their shock and sadness at the loss on the KSLA News 12 Facebook Page.
