CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Caddo Parish judge handed down a life sentence Thursday morning to a Shreveport woman convicted of murdering a U.S. Air Force Sergeant.

Kimethia Coleman, 26, was sentenced to life in prison at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension.

A jury found her guilty of second degree murder for stabbing her boyfriend, Sgt. Brian Spinks over 60 times, back in 2010.
